Cyclones Fall in Double Overtime, Trail Series 2-0

LONDON, ON – It was a battle until the very end, but the Listowel Cyclones fell just short in a heart-pounding 3-2 double-overtime loss against the London Nationals in Game 2 of the GOJHL Western Conference quarter-final playoff series. With this result, the Cyclones now trail the series 2-0 as they prepare to return home for Game 3.

Goaltender Rylie Arts stood tall between the pipes, making 29 saves in a valiant effort to keep the Cyclones in the fight. Despite a strong defensive performance and a relentless push on offense, the Nationals managed to find the back of the net in the second overtime, sealing the victory on home ice.

With the series shifting back to Listowel, the Cyclones are eager to bounce back and feed off the energy of their home crowd. Game 3 is set for Friday, March 21st, at the Steve Kerr Memorial Arena, with puck drop at 7:30 P.M.
