Listowel Cyclones Add Two Assistant Coaches

The Listowel Cyclones are excited to add two former Cyclones, Luke Israel and Holdyn Lansink, to the
2023-2024 coaching staff.

Luke is from Wallenstein where he operates 3 Gen Organics with his family. He started his minor
hockey in Waterloo before going to the US to Salisbury Prep School. Luke was drafted to both the
Sudbury Wolves and Sioux City of the USHL. His Jr. career started out west for the Bonnyville Pontiacs,
followed by a year with the Syracuse Jr. Stars before coming home to play for Elmira, and Listowel,
where he ended his Jr. career as a Cyclone. Last year Luke coached the U13 Huron Perth Lakers, and
helped the Cyclones when he was available. Luke is passionate about the game, and is very excited to
help this group of Cyclones take it to the next level.

Holdyn originally from Seaforth, now resides in Listowel with his lovely wife Ashley and pup RIP, and
works at Stop 23. His Jr. hockey careers started in Wingham with the Ironmen, before coming to
Listowel. He was drafted from the Ironmen by the Erie Otters. As a Cyclone Holdyn won 2 Cherrey
Cups, and the Sutherland Cup. In 2018-2019 he was selected as the OHA Jr. B Player of the Year, setting
the Cyclones all-time regular season point record with 111 points. The last 2 seasons he has been an
Ass’t Coach with the Mitchell Hawks, winning the Pollock Division Championship in 2022.

Luke and Holdyn are excited to work together with Jesse and the rest of the staff. Their successful
experiences are going to help our group of players understand what it takes to win, and help them
become a great team on and off the ice.

Yours In Hockey,

Listowel Cyclones Executive
